THE LAST LAP

FAST Cars. short tracks. big dreams

On the last remaining shorttracks of New England, generations of dreamers risk everything to keep their sport—and their legacy—alive.

Our Approach

We approach each project with the same mindset: get close to the work without getting in the way, and bring back visuals and stories that feel as alive as the places we’re filming.

Our crews are built for the field. Small, experienced teams who know how to move lightly and adapt quickly—whether it’s on snowmobiles, ATVs, boats, canoes, or on foot with hip waders and backpacks.

We prioritize quality over quantity. Every shot, every interview is treated with the same precision as a commercial production, because we believe these stories deserve that level of care.

We also capture still photography alongside video, giving MDIFW a cohesive set of assets for your catalog, outreach, and promotion.

why us

We’ve filmed in every corner of Maine, through every season, and in conditions that test even the most seasoned crews. We know how to plan, how to adapt, and how to move through the field without getting in the way.

We’re not in this to make another video. We’re here to craft films that reveal the why behind MDIFW’s work—stories that resonate and stay with people long after they’ve watched.

Overview

The Last Lap is a bold, cinematic story built to grab national attention for New England short-track racing. It’s the first film of its kind to dive deep into this raw, deeply human culture, told with insider access and the cinematic scale it deserves.

Backed by legends Ricky Craven, Dick Berggren, and Bentley Warren, as well as current drivers, track owners, and a passionate fan base, the racing world sees this as a vital tool to spark new energy for a sport in need of it.

We’re seeking $100,000 to deliver a feature-length documentary with premium production value and wide distribution potential. This isn’t just a film—it’s a cultural moment and an unprecedented marketing platform.
