Our Approach

This was a true backcountry production—operating hours beyond paved roads, deep in the North Maine Woods, with access limited to logging roads, snowmobiles, and long hikes through unbroken terrain. We embedded with biologists and moved with them through unpredictable conditions, carrying full camera systems while capturing the work as it happened. With a small, highly capable crew, we built a production approach that could adapt quickly, earn trust, and operate without slowing the team down. This is the kind of environment we’re built for.

THE RESULTS

The film gave the department a powerful way to share the legacy of the program and the people behind it. It has been used across public presentations and digital platforms to expand reach, deepen understanding, and bring new visibility to one of the country’s most influential wildlife research programs.

The process was seamless—organized, responsive, and open to input at every stage. The team delivered on time, on budget, and at a high level across creative, production, and post.
